Download and Confirm an archive or report request

Learn how to download archive and report requests and provide confirmation when requested.

Users receive a notification when an archive or report is ready to be downloaded. For more information, see In-application and Email Notifications.

Note:

The Download Log contains an audit history for each archive and report downloaded. The report does not include details for archives or reports manually downloaded from the Oracle sFTP server. For more information about the ability to deliver archives to the sFTP server, see About eTMF.
  1. Start by accessing the Reports & Archives page.
  2. Select the Archives tab and then make a selection from the Archive list.
  3. Expand the Download Archives sidebar, locate the archive or report, and then click Download and store the file locally.

    Note:

    The file size indicates the final size of the uncompressed (extracted) zip file. For failed requests, file size indicates the total zip size for the records that processed successfully.
  4. Were you presented with a dialog window stating that site confirmation is required? This indicates that the sponsor user who created the request requires confirmation that it has been both downloaded and acknowledged. Select OK to close the dialog window.
    • A site user assigned to a study role that includes the Confirm download of Archival PDFs and content permission can complete the confirmation process.
    • If multiple users at a site download a request without providing confirmation, the confirmation dialog window appears until the confirmation process is complete.

  5. Select Confirm under Download in the Download Archives sidebar.
    The Confirm Download window opens.
  6. Read the confirmation text, check I agree to the terms above, and then select Confirm.
    The confirmation date is displayed.

    Tip:

    You can generate the Site Confirmation report to view all site confirmation actions.
