Manage manual query closure by role
You can now manage queries based on user role and permissions with newly introduced permissions in Oracle Clinical One Platform.
Details for sponsor users
When it comes to managing query closure and related permissions, here's what's new for you as a sponsor user:
Permission | Description |
---|---|
Close All Queries | This permission is formerly known as the Close Queries permission. Users assigned this permission have the ability to close all queries they can view. |
Close Auto Queries | Users assigned this permission can close automated queries they have permission to view. |
Close Queries by Role | Users assigned this permission are able to close manual queries that were opened by users with the same assigned role when the query was opened. |
Close Central Coding Queries |
Sponsor users assigned this permission can close orphaned queries from Oracle Central Coding. Note: This permission and workflow allows sponsor users to close these queries manually when necessary. It is recommended that sponsor users follow Oracle Central Coding workflows to manage queries in all other situations. |
Answer Assigned Queries |
Only users assigned this permission are available for selection to answer an assigned query. Note: Only users assigned the Answer Assigned Queries and View All Queries permissions are able to see the query. Previously, users who did not have the Answer Assigned Queries permission were able to be assigned to the query and view it. |
More details on these permissions can be found in the Add Users Guide after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade completes.
Impact on reports
The User Assignment report and User Assignment by Site report now include details on when a user is assigned these new permissions if Include Permissions is selected at the time either report is generated.
