2 Customize notifications

Tailor your study's notifications to include your organization's customizable helpdesk information.

To perform this task, you must be assigned a study role that includes the Edit Welcome Details in General Study Settings permission.

  1. Select Study Settings (Study Settings) on the study you want to edit, and select Open Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Notification tab.
  3. Under Email Theme, turn the Hide Oracle Logo on or off, depending on whether you want the Oracle logo to be displayed in your study's notifications.
  4. Under Text Body, enter your organization's guidance for study and site users.

    Note:

    If you add a link in the notification that starts with https:// or www, a space will be added after the https:// or www string. For example:
    • https://clinicalone.com is displayed as https:// clinicalone.com.
    • www.clinicalone.com is displayed as www. clinicalone.com.

    For example, you can enter: Log a ticket with Support and include this error message. For more questions or immediate assistance, contact your company's support desk.

    If you leave this field empty, the Oracle standard text is displayed across all notifications: Please do not reply to this message. Instead, send all correspondence to your local representative or Oracle contact. For further assistance, contact Oracle Support Cloud.

  5. Select Apply Changes.

Tip:

Once you customize your notification, you can verify how the text looks in some notifications. For example, if you have the permission to do so, run any report in the application. Whether the report is successfully generated or not, you will receive a notification. In there, you can view how the customized text is displayed.
