Mark a kit for destruction
If another depot must destroy kits in a study, as part of the kit reconciliation process, you must update a kit's status to Pending Destruction so the kit can be placed in a depot shipment for destruction.
Note:
Kits in certain statuses can not be directly updated to the statuses described in this task. For more information see Allowed updates for inventory status.- Navigate to the Study Inventory tab. For step-by-step instructions, see Access the Study Inventory tab.

- Above the kit list, use the filter to find the kits to
update:
- If you work at multiple depots, below Location, click Depots, and select your current location from the All Depots drop-down.
- Above the kit list, from the Status drop-down, select the status the kit had before it went missing or was damaged.
- To view kits from the same lot, select a blinded or manufacturing lot from the Lots drop-down.
- If necessary, narrow your view further by clicking Kit or Sequence, and enter a range of kit or sequence numbers.
- In the list, select the kits to update.
- On the right, make sure Kit Settings is expanded.
- Below Kit Settings, from the Status drop-down, select Pending Destruction.
- Click Update Kits.
- In the confirmation window, select a reason for change and click Yes.
- Above the kit list, use the filters to check your work:
