Enhancements to library studies
Library users can now make their work more collaborative and much faster with a new set of enhancements implemented for library studies.
As a user administrator or global user manager, you must be aware that a user must be assigned the existing permission View Study Design to ue this new feature.
Whether you're a study designer or a library user, here's what's new for
you:
- On the Home page, you have a new option to copy a study into your library. This will help you kickstart your library study design much faster. Conversely, you can copy an entire library study into Production, as well. Upon selecting to copy a study, the Copy Study dialog appears. In there, you will see the options to select whether you're copying the study for Production or for a library.
- If copying a study fails, you will see a warning on the Home page, next to the study that couldn't be copied.. Additionally, all copied studies (whether live or library studies) will indicate the user name of the user who performed the action.
- In your library, in the Used in Studies section, you can view how your library objects are used in Production or other library studies.
- You can now better collaborate with fellow library users or designers when working a library study. With the new comments feature, you can leave each other comments, organize everything by threads, as well as sort through comments, search through them, or resolve them.
- You can leave or reply to comments in both Study Design and Testing mode, and you also get an email notification whenever you are tagged in a specific comment.
More information on these new library enhancements can be found in the Sponsor and CRO User Guide after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade.
