Enhancements to Oracle Clinical One Analytics
Support for data classification security
With the support for the data classification security, all questions in a form that you can view in Oracle Clinical One Platform are now visible to you in Oracle Clinical One Analytics, as well. Your view is determined by any data classifications that are applied to those questions and your permissions to view them. Before this enhancement, all questions that had any data classifications applied to them were hidden to all users in Oracle Clinical One Analytics, regardless of their permissions.
The data classification security is only applicable for the Subject Form Items dataset and the Queries dataset.
Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) upgrade
Oracle Clinical One Analytics Data Visualizer is getting an OAS upgrade from 5.9 to 6.4. Although the current functionality remains basically the same, there are some minor changes in appearance of the Data Visualizer user interface (UI). These changes shouldn't affect the way you currently work with Oracle Clinical One Analytics. However, you can refer to the Analytics User Guide for step by step help on different tasks or reach out to your Oracle point of contact for more information on Oracle Clinical One Analytics training and mentoring.
This upgrade is not impacting any of your saved reports, projects and data.
New data elements for query and verification reporting
- A boolean flag for items containing queries, irrespective of the status, in the Subject Form Items dataset.
- A boolean flag for events requiring verification in the Blinded and Unblinded Subject Event dataset.
- Current user role data in the audit and reference folders.
Tip:
Never heard of a boolean flag? A boolean flag is a True or False value to identify an object as having a particular characteristic or not.Additional kit identifiers
The Unblinded Kits dataset now has two additional kit identifiers, to allow data managers to monitor kits in a closer manner. The two new data elements are available in the Kit folder and, because this data is unavailable from the Oracle Clinical One Platform user interface, these are populated through integration.
You can find additional information about the new added fields in the Analytics User Guide after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade.
