Forms, visits, and rules

Visit cycle is skipped incorrectly

Now, cycle visits that have been skipped and unskipped, resulting in a status of New or In Progress, are included in the logic used to calculate subsequent visits.

Retracted workaround: None. Issue (35620027).

Lab forms in cyclic visits populate incorrectly with lab normals

Now, if working in a study that uses cyclic visits, the lab normals appear only when the Sample Collection Date is set after the Effective Date. Previously, the lab forms populated incorrectly with lab normals if the Sample Collection Date (or visit date) was set before the Effective Date (the date from which the lab normal range became effective at the laboratory).

Error when adding a custom rule in a lab form

Rules developers: Now, when creating a custom rule referencing fields in the first section of a lab form, that rule returns the correct values when running. Previously, when you created a custom rule that referenced a question such as the Sample Collection Date or the question on Fasting (both located in the first section of a lab form), the system would return an Internal Server Error.

Issue (35454836).

Cycle visits show the same date

Site users: The scheduled future cycle visits now show different dates. Previously, the same date showed for all future cycle visits in a week. This prompted unrequested shipments for site dispensation.

Error encountered submitting a lab form when UNK is entered as a time component (Former Known Issue)

Site users: Now, selecting UNK for a time component with a partial date shows as expected. Previously, site users encountered an unexpected error after submitting a lab form that included a date item that allowed for partial date entry, and selected UNK for the time component.

Retracted workaround:You no longer have to collect the data first, and then complete the partial date/time question with UNK afterward.

Re-running a custom calculation value rule results in an error'

Rule designers: Re-running a calculated value rules in a live study now work seamlessly with data re-populating the targeted fields, as expected. Previously, when you re-ran a rule in a live study, you would receive an email that an error has occurred, and data would not be updated in the rule's targeted fields.

Issue (35393191)

Error when editing visit schedule in Draft mode

Study designers: Now, when you specify a visit's window, you can save your changes as expected. Previously, when editing and saving the changes in any of the Visit Window fields, an "Update Scheduled Failed" error message would appear. The targeted field would remain unchanged.

Radio buttons cannot be updated when links are present

Site users: Now, you can modify the answers to a question with radio buttons even when the form containing that question is linked to other forms in a study. Previously, you were unable to modify to answer of a question that was included in a linked form, even though that question did not determine the linking. For example, when you attempted to modify the answer to a question unrelated to a linked form, an error message appeared that stated: "The answer to this question impacts other related questions on this form. You must clear any answers or links to the related questions, as well as answer or update related queries before you can change this answer".

Workaround: Remove the form link and clear the dynamic questions to allow the system to change the option for the radio control.

The cycle visit branch shows incorrect order

Study designers: Now, the future cycle visits you create are displayed in a subject's schedule with their specified dates. Previously, all future cycle visits were displayed with the same date throughout a week. This prompted unrequested shipments for site dispensation.

Issue (35400909).

Subject switches to the wrong branch when configured on form criteria

Study Designers: Currently, the visit branches that you configure using form criteria work as expected. Previously, at times, visits in a branch were not displayed for you as expected when they were configured on form criteria.

For example, if a subject answers a question such as "Do you want to continue with the same treatment?" with "No," they will be moved to the appropriate visit branch that you configured.
