Enhancements to code lists
Thanks to these latest enhancements, study designers and code list managers can now make better use of custom code lists and system default code lists.
Details for study designers and code list managers
Whether you're a study designer or code list manager, here's what you
can now do with code lists:
- You can import a custom code list into the application in a CSV or XLSX format. The imported code list file must contain a maximum of 1000 rows and a minimum of 1 row.
- To import a code list, you can download the template for code lists from the application.
- You can download any code list in an XLSX format only.
- In the application, the icon indicating that a value in the
code list is hidden has changed from an X to a new symbol (
).
- Only custom code lists can be imported at a study level and at a global level (for all studies at your organization). If you import a custom code list at a global level that code list is not replicated at the study level. If you want the same changes to appear at the study level, you must manually update the custom code list for a specific study.
- You can also copy a custom code list and rename it at both a global level (for all studies at your organization) and at a study level (for a single study). Code list titles must be unique within the study or the library.
Other enhancements
Code lists that are tagged with the Lab Test tag now dynamically add an optional user-entered column to include the Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC).
