Configuring UDF Mapping
UDF Mapping is used to for configure labels and activate UDF fields within OPERA Cloud to be used for search results within the application as well as for an outgoing XML message used with external systems (such as OWS, HTNG). For example, if your property uses UDF02 on a reservation to store the Valet Ticket, you would configure the label (tag) in the reservation UDF Mappings to be Valet Ticket. This allows the XML to include this identifying value for context instead of only UDFC02. Configured labels can also be displayed when adding UDF columns to reservation search results on the Arrivals, In House and Departures screens..
