Flexible Dynamic Fields for profile use can be created by selecting the Area Profile. You must select the Profile Types on which the field should be available. Flexible Dynamic Fields for reservation use can be created by selecting the area Reservation. 

Adding Flexible Dynamic Fields for Profiles

1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Flexible Dynamic Fields and then select Flexible Dynamic Fields Configuration.

2. Click New and enter the following details:

   1. Area: Select a Profile.

   2. Code: Enter a unique code for the flexible dynamic field.

   3. Description: Enter a description of the flexible dynamic field.

   4. Sequence: Enter a sequence number for displaying the flexible dynamic field.

   5. Profile Types: Select applicable profile types from the list.

   6. Mandatory Field: Select check box if the flexible dynamic field is mandatory.

   7. Enable LOV: Select checkbox if the field values are selected from a list of values

      1. LOV Group: Select the LOV group the Flexible Dynamic Field should use. For more information, see UDF Groups and Values.

      2. Allow Multi-Select: Select check box to allow multiple values to be selected from the list

   8. Click Save.

Adding Flexible Dynamic Fields for Reservations

1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Flexible Dynamic Fields and then select Flexible Dynamic Fields Configuration.

2. Click New and enter the following details:

   1. Area: Select Reservation.

   2. Code: Enter a unique code for the flexible dynamic field.

   3. Description: Enter a description of the flexible dynamic field.

   4. Sequence: Enter a sequence number for displaying the flexible dynamic field.

   5. Mandatory Field: Select check box if the flexible dynamic field is mandatory.

   6. Enable LOV: Select checkbox if the field values are selected from a list of values

      1. LOV Group: Select the LOV group the Flexible Dynamic Field should use. For more information, see Configuring UDF Groups.

      2. Allow Multi-select : Select check box to allow multiple values to be selected from the list.

   7. Click Save.

Editing Flexible Dynamic Fields for Profiles or Reservations

1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Flexible Dynamic Fields and then select Flexible Dynamic Fields Configuration.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the flexible dynamic fields code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit

   1. Update the details.

   2. Inactive: Select check box to inactivate the code. Inactivating a code does not delete the code from profiles.

   3. Click Save.

Deleting Flexible Dynamic Fields for Profiles or Reservations

Codes cannot be deleted when selected in a profile. Instead you can update code to Inactive if no longer required.

1. Select the Administration menu, select Enterprise, select Flexible Dynamic Fields and then select Flexible Dynamic Fields Configuration.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the flexible dynamic fields code, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete

4. Click Delete to confirm.
