With external systems selected in the Selective Block Business Events OPERA Control, you can select one or more external systems to send business event data. Any changes to the block or reservations created for the block are sent to the subscribed external system(s).

Adding External System to Blocks

1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Blocks, then select Manage Block.

2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

3. Select the block in the search result, then click Block Exchange.

   1. Click New.

      1. External System: Select the external system from the list. Once the external system is selected your block is subscribed and any update is being sent to the external system. 

      2. Click Save.

Deleting External Systems from Blocks

1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Blocks, then select Manage Block.

2. Enter search criteria then click Search.

3. Select the block in the search result, then click Block Exchange.

   1. Select the external system, then click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

   2. Click Delete to confirm.

   3. The block is unsubscribed, and the external system no longer receives data about this block.
