OXI Communication Methods in OPERA Cloud define the protocols and configurations used for data exchange between the OPERA Xchange Interface (OXI) and external systems. The communication methods are set up for each interface before the interface can be activated.

You can use the OXI Communication Methods functionality to monitor the data flow, communication mode and URL of an interface. 

1. From the Exchange menu, select Interface Monitoring , and then select OXI Communication Methods.

2. From the Search panel, select the following:

   1. Interfaces: Click to select one or more OXI interfaces from the list

   2. Data Flow: Select a data flow direction (Upload/Download)

   3. Communication Mode: Select a relevant Communication Mode (HTTP(S)/Client/Server)

      1. HTTP(S)/Client: Select if the data is sent from OPERA Cloud to the External System

      2. Server: Select if the data is posted from the External System to OPERA Cloud.

3. Click Search.
