PWA - Room Maintenance

Use Room Maintenance to create, view, or resolve maintenance requests for rooms. Maintenance requests can be tasks such as changing a light bulb or repairing a faulty lock, air conditioning unit, or leaky faucet. You can assign maintenance requests to staff according to a staff member’s skills and/or qualifications.

Tip:

You can either swipe or use long press to reveal the available actions for a task in the search result.

Adding Maintenance Requests

  1. Tap + Add Request to create a maintenance request.

  2. Room: Search and select a room.

  3. User: To assign the request to a specific user, search and select the user.

  4. Expected By: Select a due date to resolve the request.

  5. Reason Code: Select a reason from the list.

  6. Remarks: Enter additional remarks.

  7. Take Photo: Click to take pictures and upload with the ticket.

  8. Add from Gallery: Click to upload pictures from the phone's gallery or choose from files or take a new photo to upload in the ticket.

  9. Tap Create Maintenance Request to save and close the page.

Searching Maintenance Requests

Note:

My (Assigned) Requests appear by default in the search results, listing all maintenance tasks assigned to you. To view all other requests, change the selection to All Requests or Unassigned Requests.
  1. Use the Search by Room to search for a particular room or tap Filter to search using the available options.

    1. Status: Select Resolved / Unresolved / All.

    2. Front Office Status: Select Vacant / Occupied.

    3. Room: Select rooms from the list.

    4. Reason Code: Select reason codes from the list.

    5. User: Select users from the list.

    6. Expected By : Select a date from the calendar.

      Note:

      Room Maintenance is populated with the value Unresolved by default.
    7. Tap Search to view results.

Updating Maintenance Requests

  1. Use the Search by Room to search for a particular room or tap Filter to search using the available options.

  2. Tap a maintenance request to open, view, or update its details.

    Tip:

    You can also left swipe or tap a maintenance request to open, view, or update its details.
  3. User: Search and select a user to assign to the task.

  4. Reason Code: Select a reason code from the list.

  5. Remarks: Enter additional remarks.

  6. Take Photo: Click to take pictures and upload to the maintenance request.

  7. Add from Gallery: Click to upload pictures from the phone's gallery or choose from files or take a new photo to upload to the maintenance request.

  8. Tap Update to save.

Resolving Maintenance Requests

  1. Use the Search by Room to search for a particular room or tap Filter to search using the available options.

  2. Tap Resolve to update the status to resolved and close the page.

  3. Swipe right to left to resolve an unresolved maintenance request.

  4. Tap a maintenance request to open, view, or update its details. Hit the check button icon on top right side to resolve the status and close the page.

Unresolving Maintenance Requests

  1. Use the Search by Room to search for a particular room or tap Filter to search using the available options.

  2. Hard press on the request to select the Un Resolve.

  3. Swipe right to left to unresolve an resolved maintenance request.

  4. Tap a maintenance request to open, view, or update its details and hit the unresolved icon on top right side to unresolve the status and close the page.

Deleting Maintenance Requests

  1. Use the Search by Room to search for a particular room or tap Filter to search using the available options.

  2. Hard press on the request to select the Delete option.

  3. Swipe left to right to delete an resolved or unresolved maintenance request.

  4. Tap a maintenance request to open, view, or update its details and hit the Delete button at the bottom to delete the request.
