About Central Sales

With an OPERA Cloud Service Central Management Services subscription and the Central Sales OPERA Control active, you can perform sales related tasks from an above-property Central Sales hub location. For each central sales hub created, a pseudo Central Sales property is used for managing leads and sales activities. Based on the roles granted, you can access other functionality such a managing sales accounts, viewing Property Availability, Functions Diary or Group Rooms Control for properties allocated to the sales hub. You can customize your dashboard with the Block Overview, Sales Activities, Appointments, and To Do tiles for the central sales property.

Note:

The central sales property uses your local system date and time rather than a business date and shares global configuration (such as profile, geographic and block status) with all OPERA Cloud Foundation properties in the tenancy.

In order to use Central Sales, the following configuration is required:

Central Sales Hub	Configure one or more central sales hub and provision the central sales (pseudo) property "CSP" for the sales hub. Select properties to assign to the sales hub. Once complete, the pseudo-property must be configured.

OPERA Cloud Foundation (Receiving Properties)
Property Lead Block Owner OPERA Control	Select an owner to assign to property Leads / Opportunities received from Central Sales.
Property Lead New Block Status OPERA Control	Select a (Inquiry or Non-deduct Status Type) block status for property leads received when the Opportunities OPERA Control is not active.	Sales and Event Management Premium Edition subscribers with the Opportunities OPERA Control receive Leads as Opportunities.
Configure Exchange Rates	Configure exchange rates per currency for the Posting exchange type.	In order for property leads to be created from a Central Sales property with a different currency, ensure exchange rates for the Posting exchange type are setup for the Central Sales Property currency.
