Managing Events
Note:
You can also access Events linked to a Block from the Block search screen by selecting the Manage Events details link. For more information, see Searching for Blocks: Advanced Search.Note:
When the Event Waitlist OPERA Control is active and you select a function space that is already booked by an event this is part of a different block, you will receive the following message: “Function space is not available. Do you want to Waitlist? Select Yes to add the event to the Waitlist.” For more information, see Managing Event Waitlist.Note:
If you select a space that requires an alternate, an asterisk (*) is indicated, and you are forced to select an alternate function space. Click the Select Alternate Space button. Refer to: Managing Alternate Space Events.Editing Events
Note:
For alternate events the Event Type, Status, Start Time, End Time and Space fields are disabled. If an event is marked Do Not Move the Start Date, Start Time, End Time and Space fields are disabled.Note:

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Events, and then select Manage Events.

Enter search criteria, and click Search.

From the search results, select the event and then click the Event ID value to open the Event Presentation page.
Note:
Details panels selected in the default or previously selected Presentation Panel Tab are displayed. For more information, see Presentation Pages. -
Click Event Details.

Click Edit.

Update the event details. For more information, see Creating Events

Click Save.

Quick Editing Event Details
Note:
For alternate events the Event Type, Status, Start Time, End Time and Space fields are disabled. If an event is marked Do Not Move the Start Date, Start Time, End Time and Space fields are disabled.-
From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Events, and then select Manage Events.

Enter search criteria, and click Search.

From the search results, select the event then click the pencil icon.

Update the event details. For more information, see Creating Events

Click Save.
Cancelling Events

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Events, and then select Manage Events.

Enter or confirm the Property, enter any additional search criteria, and click Search.

Locate the event in search result and click Event Details or click the Event ID and scroll to the Event Details panel.

Click Edit.

On the Status field, update the event status to cancelled (or lost or regret).
Note:
Event statuses available in the list of values depend on the block status flow configured for your property Block Status. -
Click Save.
Deleting Events

From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Bookings, select Events, and then select Manage Events.

Enter or confirm the Property , enter any additional search criteria, and click Search.

Locate the event in the search result and click the I Want To . . . then Delete Event.

Click Yes to confirm.
