Managing Track It Requests
Adding Track It Requests
- 
                        From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Miscellaneous, select Track It, and then select New. 
- 
                        Click New and enter the following details: - 
                              Category: Select a category : Parcel, Valet, Baggage, or Lost. 
- 
                              Property: Enter or select the property. 
- 
                              Track It Number: Enter a reference number, such a baggage receipt number. 
- 
                              Type: Select a Track it type from the list. 
- 
                              Action: Select a Track It action from the list. 
- 
                              Quantity: Enter the quantity of items. (Enabled for Parcel, Baggage and Lost categories). 
- 
                              Location: Enter the current location of the item. 
- 
                              Action Date: Enter or select an action date. 
- 
                              Assigned To: Select an employee to assign the Track it request. Note: Track It on mobile devices shows the 'My Requests' by default. This is a listing of requests assigned to the user.
- 
                              Description. Enter a detailed description of the item(s). 
 
- 
                              
- 
                        Reservation Information: To associate the Track It request with a reservation- 
                                 Enter the guest last name into the Name search field and press tab. 
- 
                                 Select the reservation in the search result (you can modify the search criteria if the reservation is not found). 
- 
                                 Click Select Reservation. 
 
- 
                                 
- 
                        Click Save. 
Editing Track It Requests
- 
                        From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Miscellaneous, and then select Track It. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and then click Search.Note: To search Requests assigned to you, select Assigned.Note: By default, only Open status requests are included in the search. 
- 
                        Click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit. 
- 
                        To assign a request to a staff member, select User from the list. 
- 
                        Reservation Information: To associate the Track It request with a reservation- 
                                 Enter the guest last name into the Name search field and press tab. 
- 
                                 Select the reservation in the search result (you can modify the search criteria if the reservation is not found). 
- 
                                 Click Select Reservation. 
- 
                                 To view the guest profile, click the Guest Name link. 
 
- 
                                 
- 
                        To view the history of a request, select View History from the vertical ellipsis. The request history appears in a screen. 
Deleting Track It Requests
- 
                        From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Miscellaneous, and then select Track It. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and then click Search.Note: To search Requests assigned to you, select Assigned.Note: By default, only Open status requests are included in the search. 
- 
                        Click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete. 
Closing (Resolving) Track it Requests
- 
                        From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Miscellaneous, and then select Track It. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and then click Search.Note: To search Requests assigned to you, select Assigned.Note: By default, only Open status requests are included in the search. 
- 
                        To edit a request, click the vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit. 
- 
                        Select an appropriate action from the list to close the request (for example, select Done or Delivered).
