Generating Key Packet Labels for Block Reservations

Prerequisites for Key Packet Labels
When the Generate Key Packets OPERA Control is active, you can print key package labels for arrival reservations. A sample_key_packet.rtf template can be customized to suit the label size and layout, and multiple labels templates can be set up per property. You can generate room key packet labels for block reservations from the block or from the Front Desk Workspace menu.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Booking, select Blocks, then select Manage Blocks.

  2. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

  3. Select a block in the search result, then click I Want To . . . and select (Create) Key Packet Labels.

  4. In the Generate Key Packet Labels window:

    1. Enter search criteria, then click Search.

    2. Select the required reservations in the search result.

    3. Click Process Key Packet Labels.

      1. Template: Select the label format template from the list.

      2. Starting Row Position: Enter the row of first label on sheet.

      3. Starting Column Position: Enter the column of the first label on sheet.

      4. Select Destination.

        1. Preview: Select to generate as PDF document (preview to print).

        2. Email to Print: Select to email the PDF to the printer. 

          1. Select a printer from the list.

        3. Email: Select to email to recipient.

          1. Enter the recipient’s email address.

    4. Click Process.
