Prerequisites for Configuring Item Inventory Pools

Configuring Item Pools enables properties to sell items with a maximum pool ceiling quantity. The available pool number is determined by the maximum quantity of any item associated with the pool.

Adding an Item Pool

1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Pools.

2. Click New and complete the following:

   1. Item Class. Select an Item Class from the list. Refer to: Configuring Item Class.

   2. Code. Enter the item inventory pool code. You cannot change the code after the Item Inventory Pool is saved.

   3. Description. Enter a detailed description of the item inventory pool.

   4. Display Sequence. Number that determines the position of the inventory item pool in lists of value.

   5. Sequence. Enter a display sequence to indicate sequence in list.

   6. Item Codes. Select items from the Available panel and then click [>] to move the selected items to the Selected panel.

3. Click Save or Save and Continue to add another.

Editing an Item Pool

1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Pools.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the item pool, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Edit.

4. Update the item pool details.

5. Click Save.

Deleting an Item Pool

1. From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Item Pools.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. Select the item pool, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm.
