Configuring Catering Template Events and Notes
Adding Events to Catering Templates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, click New to add events that should be included in this catering panel. Complete the following fields: - 
                              Day. Enter the Day 1 of the catering package indicating when the event will take place within the duration of the package, for example, Day 1, Day 2, and so on. 
- 
                              Event Type. Select the type of event, such as Breakfast, Exhibition, and so on. 
- 
                              Event Name. The name appears automatically based on the Event Type you select. 
- 
                              From and To. Enter the start time and end time of the event. 
- 
                              Space. Enables you to select a function space for the event. 
- 
                              Setup Style. If you select a function space, select a setup style. 
 
- 
                              
- 
                        Click Save to continue to the Resources panel. 
Editing Events on Catering Templates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, click the event’s row level vertical ellipsis and select Edit. 
- 
                        Make the required changes in the Events panel and click Save. 
- 
                        To edit resources attached to events, click the panel level Edit button, click the Item drawer or the Menus drawer, select resources, and click Save. 
Deleting Events from Catering Templates
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel of Manage Catering Packages and Templates, select the event’s row level vertical ellipsis and click Delete. 
- 
                        Click Delete to confirm. 
Adding Event Notes
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, select the event’s row level vertical ellipsis and click Add Note. 
- 
                        Complete the following fields: - 
                              Type. Select the appropriate note type. 
- 
                              Internal. Select this check box if the note you are adding is considered Internal. On certain customer facing reports, such as BEO Contract, you have the option to display Internal notes. 
- 
                              Title. This value defaults based on the event type you select. You can modify it here if required. 
- 
                              Comments. Enter the text for this note in the box. 
 
- 
                              
- 
                        Click Save. 
Editing Event Notes
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, click the Note icon on the event. 
- 
                        In the Package Event Notes dialog, click the note’s vertical ellipsis and select Edit. 
- 
                        Make your changes and click Save. 
Deleting Event Notes
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, click the Note icon on the event. 
- 
                        In the Package Event Notes dialog, click the note’s vertical ellipsis and select Delete. 
- 
                        Click Delete to confirm. 
Converting a Regular Event to a Sub Event
You can convert a regular event to a sub event in a catering package/template. When doing so, you must select a master event for the sub event.
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Select or confirm the Property, enter additional search criteria, and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, select the package/template, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, click the regular event’s vertical ellipsis and select Convert to Sub Event. 
- 
                        From the Select a Master Event dialog, select a Master Event and click Save. 
Creating a Sub Event on a Catering Package/Event Template Event
You can create a sub event attached to an event. The event you select cannot be a sub event.
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Package / Template Setup. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        From your search results, click the row level vertical ellipsis and select Edit. 
- 
                        In the Events panel, select the event’s row level vertical ellipsis click Create Sub Event. 
- 
                        Complete the following fields: - 
                              Event Type. Select the appropriate event type. 
- 
                              Event Name. This value defaults based on the event type you selected. You can modify the event name, if required. 
- 
                              From and To. Enter the start time and end time of the event. 
- 
                              Space. If required, select a function space for this event. 
- 
                              Setup Style. If a function space selected, select a setup style.

                        Click Save.
