Configuring Advanced Authorization Rules
Adding Advanced Authorization Rules
- 
                           From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashiering Management, then select Authorization Rules. 
- 
                           Click New and complete the following - 
                                 Property: Enter or select the property 
- 
                                 Room Type: Select a room type from the list. When you select a Room type, the associated Room Class automatically populates the Room Class field, and you cannot modify the Room Class field. 
- 
                                 Room Class: Select a room class from the list (Available when the Room Class OPERA Control is active). 
- 
                                 Rate Code: Select a rate code from the list. If you select a Rate Code, then a Rate Category attached to the Room Type will automatically be populated, and you cannot modify the Rate Category field. 
- 
                                 Rate Category: Select a rate category from the list 
- 
                                 Reservation Types: Select a reservation type from the list. Not available for the default (Property) authorization rule. 
- 
                                 Source Code: Select a source code from the list. Not available for the default (Property) authorization rule. 
- 
                                 Authorization Rule: Select an authorization rule from the list 
- 
                                 Amount: Enter an amount to be applied to authorization calculation rule. 
 
- 
                                 
- Click Save.
Editing Advanced Authorization Rules
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashiering Management, then select Authorization Rules. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        Select the Authorization Rule, then click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit. 
- 
                        Update configuration. 
- Click Save.
Deleting Advanced Authorization Rules
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Financials, then Cashiering Management, then select Authorization Rules. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        Select the Authorization Rule, then click the vertical ellipsis and select Delete. 
- Click Delete to confirm.
