Configuring Block Cancellation Reasons
A cancellation reason is required when you change the status of a block or events to Canceled. Cancellation reasons configuration is shared by all properties when the OPERA Multi-Property Reservation Cloud Service is active.
.Adding a Block Cancellation Reason
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons. 
- 
                        Click New and complete the following fields:- 
                                 Code. Enter a code for reservations that are canceled (for example, WEATHER or FLIGHT). 
- 
                                 Description. Enter a description that clarifies a canceled reservation code (for example, weather conditions, flight cancellation, and so on). 
- 
                                 Display Seq. Enter a number that controls the position of the code in listings. Codes not assigned a sequence number are listed in alphabetical order following codes with an assigned sequence.

                        Click Save or click Save and Continue to add another cancellation reason. 
Editing a Block Cancellation Reason
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        In the search results, select the code, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit. 
- 
                        Update the configuration. 
- 
                        Click Save. 
Deleting a Block Cancellation Reason
- 
                        From the Administration menu, select Booking, select Block Management, and then select Cancellation Reasons. 
- 
                        Enter search criteria and click Search. 
- 
                        In the search results, select the code, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Delete. 
- 
                        Select Delete to confirm.
