Role Permissions

Role Manager allows you to assign or revoke permissions to a role where cluster users are assigned. In the Overview, you can view the modules shown in the following tables if you have Partial or All permissions. Each Module has permission subsections.

From the Role Manager menu, select Role Permissions.

Managing Role Permissions

Use the following to search for a category or tax:
  • Role Name: Select one or multiple roles to view, define, or update permissions.

Click Search to get search results. Click Reset to reset the search data.

Editing Role Permissions

  • Use the pencil on the right-hand side of each record to edit a role. The screen is split into two parts.

  • Permissions are grouped by modules. On each Module you can set either all View permissions in one when the role should have View Only permissions by selecting Select All View Permissions or all permissions by selecting Select all Permissions if the role should have all permissions. Alternatively, you can select one of those options and select/de-select additional permissions, for example, if a role should have all permission except Delete.

  • Use the filter to find specific permissions.

Click Update to save your edits on existing records.

Note:

At a minimum, your role must have the View permission to view the options available on the Horizontal Lines menu.
