Prepare to upgrade

To upgrade, you must confirm the version number of your instance of Oracle Empirica Signal and ensure all users are logged out.

You can apply the Oracle Empirica Signal 9.2.0.1 patch to an instance of Oracle Empirica Signal 9.2.0.0.

To complete the upgrade procedure, you must have credentials for the following accounts:

  • An Oracle Empirica Signal administrator.
  • A non-privileged user who can log in to the application server.
  • An Oracle WebLogic Server administrator.
  1. Using the administrator account, log in to the Oracle Empirica Signal application.
  2. To confirm that the version number of Oracle Empirica Signal, click Settings, then About.
    Confirm the version number is 9.2.0.0.527.
  3. Click Back to return to the Settings panel.
  4. Click View Currently Logged in Users.
    If sessions in addition to your own are running, instruct the users to finish their sessions.
  5. Click Exit.
