1 Apply the 9.1.0.8 patch to Oracle Empirica Signal
- Before you start
You can apply the Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.8 patch to an instance of Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.0.360, 9.1.0.1.361, 9.1.0.2.363, 9.1.0.3.364, 9.1.0.4.366, 9.1.0.5.367, 9.1.0.6.371, or 9.1.0.7.374. - Prepare to upgrade
To upgrade, you must confirm that you have the appropriate credentials. - Unpack the Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.8 files
On the application server running Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.x, start a command shell. - Update the listener.properties file
Perform the following steps only if you upgraded from a version prior to Signal 9.1.0.6. Confirm the RGPS Minimum Lambda parameters in thelistener.propertiesfile. - Deploy Oracle Empirica Signal
After you have unpacked the Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.8 files on the application server running Oracle Empirica Signal, you must deploy the Oracle Empirica Signal application in the Oracle WebLogic Server console. - Update Oracle Analytics Server/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
If you are upgrading from a version prior to Oracle Empirica Signal 9.1.0.7, and if an Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) was set up for Oracle Empirica Topics reporting, complete the following steps. - Restart OAS/OBIEE Server
After you update the application server running OAS/OBIEE, you must restart the BI server in the WebLogic Server console. - Confirm the upgrade
Confirm that the upgrade succeeded and notify users.
