Configuring Gift Card Tender Parameters for SPI

You must have the appropriate privileges to configure the Tender Parameters module for gift cards.

  1. Select the Enterprise, click Setup, and then click Tender Parameters.
  2. On the Configuration tab, select the SPI default values for the following fields:

    • Payment Card Tender: Select the payment tender used as the default for SPI (for example, 14 - Default SPI).

    • Activate Gift Card Service Charge: Select the default service charge used to activate a gift card (for example, 7 - Activate Gift Card).

    • Issue Gift Card Service Charge: Select the default service charge used to issue a gift card (for example, 8 - Issue Gift Card).

    • Reload Gift Card Service Charge: Select the default service charge used to reload a gift card (for example, 9 - Reload Gift Card).

    • Redeem Gift Card Tender: Select the default tender used to redeem a gift card (for example, 41 - Default Gift Card Redemption).

    • Cash Out Gift Card Tender: Select the default tender used to cash out a gift card (for example, 42 - Default Cashout Gift Card).

      The default Payment Card Tender must be configured for a Cash Out Gift Card transaction to function.

    • Cashback Service Charge: Select the default service charge used to issue cash back from a gift card (for example, 37 - Cashback).

  3. Click Save.
