Configure Language Culture

  1. In the EMC, select the Enterprise, click Setup, and then click Languages.
  2. Double-click the language record, and then click the Miscellaneous tab.
  3. Select the Locale ID, and then enter the Language Culture corresponding to the language.

    Ensure that the Language Culture is set to the appropriate value for the language. See Configuring Languages for more information.

  4. Click Save.
  5. If a location’s required menu language differs from the Simphony default, you need to specify the menu language for that location in a property-level data extension.

    The menu APIs for DoorDash, Skip The Dishes, and Uber Eats support only one language per menu.

    1. Select the Enterprise, click Configuration, and then click Data Extensions.
    2. Highlight the property record that needs a different language for the delivery service provider’s menu, and configure the fields as described in the following table.

    3. Click Save.
