Simphony Transaction Services Generation 2 (STS Gen2) is a modern, secure REST API for Simphony that delivers both configuration and full transactional capabilities. It enables guest-facing channels—such as mobile ordering applications, kiosks, marketplaces, loyalty programs, and venue apps—to submit, price, validate, and settle orders directly against Simphony while receiving real-time status updates.

The API exposes core commerce and configuration services, including menus and pricing, item availability, taxes and discounts, order creation, updates and voids, check and payment operations, and events and updates delivered through notifications and webhooks. STS Gen2 is available to Simphony Standard Cloud Service customers hosted in the Oracle Hosting Center. Oracle Hosting must complete specific enablement steps. The service can be deployed at the enterprise level (spanning multiple properties) or at the property level (covering a single revenue center or a defined group of revenue centers).
