Simphony Transaction Services Gen2 (STS Gen2) is a REST API service layer that enables approved third-party applications to interact with Simphony for digital ordering and operational workflows. STS Gen2 provides organization, location, revenue center, menu configuration, check, employee, and notification resources, allowing integrated systems to retrieve Simphony configuration data, create and manage checks, and receive event-driven updates. Before STS Gen2 API clients can access revenue centers, workstations, menu content, consumer-facing fields, and on-premises or cloud API endpoints, the required configuration must be completed in EMC.
