Setting the Tablet 721/721P/722P BIOS Supervisor Password

Setting the supervisor password is an important step to secure the Tablet 721/721P/722P. After setting a supervisor password, the option to set user passwords will appear. Setting user passwords allows the creation of users with limited access.
  1. Connect a USB keyboard to the tablet, and then power on or restart the tablet.
  2. Press Esc immediately after pressing the power button and before the BIOS splash screen. You can press Esc repeatedly until the Configuration Utility starts.

  3. On the BIOS main screen, use the keyboard arrow keys to select the SCU icon, and then press Enter.

  4. Navigate to the Security tab, select Set Supervisor Password, and then press Enter.

  5. On the Set Supervisor Password dialog, enter and confirm a password.

  6. Exit and save the changes.
