12.3.24 MT (771/700/701) Notification of Draft or Issuance of Documentary Credit – B2C

Notification of LC Issuance sent to the corporate (Applicant/Accountee) by its bank and comprises a series of MT 798 messages.

Collectively these messages notify the issuance of a documentary credit by the issuing bank.

The system generates three records at the outgoing browser:
  1. Index Message 771
  2. Message Type 700 and
  3. Extension message 701
Tag details are retrieved from the contract screen or from the index table which stores the values from MT798 incoming messages.
