6.2.1 Start the Background Process

This topic provides the systematic instructions to start the background.

In Oracle Banking Trade Finance, you need to run the background process to generate and print advices. In addition to the generation of the advices, system will also print the advices that are scheduled to be generated during EOD processing. You can start or stop a process in the ‘Trade Finance Job Browser’ screen.
Specify the User ID and Password, and login to Homepage.
  1. On Homepage, type ‘TFSJOBBR’ in the text box, and click next arrow.
    The Trade Finance Job Browser screen is displayed.

  2. Click ‘Search’ button to display the records matching the specified criteria.
    For each record fetched by the system based on your query criteria, the following details are displayed.
    • Module
    • Process
    • Process Sequence Number
    • Status
  3. Check the required process in the search results table and click ‘Start’ button to start the process.
  4. Click ‘Stop’ button to stop the process, at any point.
