12.4.2.18 MT (745/760/761) - Advice of Issued Guarantee/ Standby Letter of Credit
The Advice of issued Guarantee / Standby LC is sent to the corporate (Beneficiary) by its bank (Advising Bank) as advice of an issued Guarantee or Standby LC.
The MT798 message generates the index message with swift sub message type as 745 and the details message as 760. The detail message MT760 is optional and this is based on the flag, ‘Envelop Detail Message’ maintained at branch parameter level.
