You can process both revocable and irrevocable Islamic LCs. However, irrevocable Islamic LCs are commonly used as they cannot be canceled without the consent of the buyer, the seller and the banks that are parties to the transaction.

A revocable Islamic LC can be canceled without any notice or consent from the parties involved in the Islamic LC.
