3.1.1.1 Exposure Type Code Maintenance

This topic provides systematic instructions about exposure type code maintenance.

To create a custom exposure hierarchy, first establish a classification group to which all exposure types and related exposure codes will be linked. This step is unnecessary if you opt to use the factory-shipped GICS classification system.

  1. One Home screen, select Limits and Collaterals. Under Limits and Collaterals, select Exposures.
  2. Under Exposures, select Exposure Type Code. Under Exposure Type Code, select Exposure Type Code Maintenance.

    Field Description
    Exposure Type Code Specify the exposure type code, which serves as an umbrella under which your custom-defined exposures will fall.
    Description Provide a description to help you easily identify the exposure type code.

    BANKINTERNAL Internal exposure setup

    Note:

    User can create multiple exposure type codes each having their own set of hierarchical exposure setups.
  3. Click Save to save the record.
