1.3 Run Oracle Banking Installer on Windows

This topic explains the systematic instructions to run the Oracle Banking Installer on Windows:

To run the Oracle Banking Installer on Windows, follow the steps below:
  1. To open the installer, double click FCUBSInstaller.bat file from the installer source file.
    A prompt is displayed to enter the Java Home Path.
  2. Specify the Java Home Path and press the Enter key.

    Note:

    This is a mandatory field, and the value entered is validated.

  3. Specify the Application Server Home Path and press the Enter key.
    A prompt is displayed to enter the Application Server Home Path.

    Note:

  4. Specify the ORACLE Home Path and press the Enter key.
    A prompt is displayed to enter the ORACLE Home Path.

    Note:

    This is a mandatory field, and the value entered is validated.
    The Installer welcome screen displays.

  5. Proceed with the installation process.
    • On the first time launch of the installer in the system, all fields in the installer will be displayed according to the values entered by the user at the command line level, and the same data is saved in env.properties.
    • On subsequent launches of installer on the same machine, the installer will read the paths from env.properties and display in the respective fields.
    • If you re-launch the installer which was closed abruptly, the following screen is displayed.

    Note:

    In this case, you have to delete the file chk.flg, created in the installer sources and again relaunch the Installer.
