2 EOD Configuration

This topic describes the systematic instructions to configure EOD operations.

Specify User ID and Password, and login to Home screen.
The following functional activities need to be maintained in user’s role to perform EOD operations:
  • CMC_FA_BRANCH_EOD_PROCESS

Note:

Refer the Create User section in Oracle Banking Security Management System User Guide for the detailed explanation.
  1. Download the ObcmEod.json and ObscfcmEod.json files, and save in the local folder.
    This is a standard batch process definition script that includes the list of batch tasks to be automatically executed in a sequence.
    • ObcmEod.json - Used for the standalone Oracle® Banking Cash Management Cloud Service application.
    • ObscfcmEod.json - Used for the co-deployed setup with Oracle Banking Supply Chain Finance.

Business Process Maintenance:

The following steps needs to be performed to import, create or modify batch process definition.

  1. On Home screen, under Tasks menu, click Business Process Maintenance.
    The Product List screen displays.
  2. Select the Process Name: blank checkbox.
  3. Click Upload DSL+ button to upload batch process definition.
  4. Select the applicable JSON file from the local folder.
  5. Click Next button.
    The Process Management screen displays.
  6. Click Next button.
    The Verify and Submit screen displays.
  7. Click Preview and Create Process to register the batch.

Configure EOD:

  1. Perform the following steps to configure EOD for a branch.

    Note:

    Refer the Branch EOD section in Oracle Banking Common Core User Guide.
    1. On Core Maintenance menu, under Branch EOD, click Configure EOD.
      The Configure EOD screen displays.
    2. In the Branch Code field, click the Search icon and select the branch code to configure the batch.
    3. In the Workflow Name field, specify the workflow name.

      Note:

      The value specified in Workflow name field must be exactly same as the first name attribute specified in batch process definition JSON file.

Invoke EOD:

  1. Perform the following steps to run EOD for a branch.

    Note:

    Refer the Branch EOD section in Oracle Banking Common Core User Guide.
    1. On Home screen, click Core Maintenance. Under Core Maintenance menu, click Branch EOD.
    2. Under Branch EOD, click Invoke EOD.
      The Invoke EOD screen displays.
    3. In the Branch Code, click the Search icon and select the branch code to run EOD.
    4. Click Start button to run the EOD for the selected branch.
    5. Click Refresh button to view the current status of branch.
