The complex data type in OBAPI can have specific validators. These validators are responsible for validating the fields in the complex data type.

The validation of the fields can also be configured in ‘DIGX_FW_TAXONOMY_DATA_MAP’ (as per given in section Data Type Definition). By using this, the field validation can be kept configurable using database entries (refer Template section for sample code). The custom validation can also be written in validators specific to complex data type.
