Poller Templates

Poller Templates is a standard configuration interface for adding, editing and removing the Polling Templates for use in on the Polling Assignments and Polling Policies interfaces. These templates consist of groups of Metric Types and specify what metrics will be created and stored for the devices and instances that are polled using the template.

Configuration -> Metrics -> Polling Assignments

This user interface calls REST methods from api/metric/pollerTemplates.

To open this interface, from the main navigation menu, select Configuration, and then Metrics, and then Poller Templates.

Form Fields

• Name - The name of the poller template.

• Metric Types - The Metric Types that are assigned to the poller template.
