Menus

Menus is a standard tree configuration interface for adding, editing, and removing the custom menus that are shown when you context click a widget on a diagram. The default menu contains the tools that can be useful to the Administrator user group, but these can be highly customized for different environments.

This user interface calls REST methods from api/diagram/menus.

To open this interface, from the main navigation menu, select Configuration, then Diagrams, and then Menus.

Form Fields

• Name - The name for the menu.

• User Group Name - The user group that will have access to the tools in the menu.

• Tools - The individual tools that will be available in the menu.

Best Practices

• The -- Separator -- tool creates a horizontal line in the Menu to visually separate tools.

• When creating new User Groups, a new menu must also be created for the group.
