Create an SNMP Access Profile

Creates a new SNMP access profile.
The minimum required properties in the request body are:
  • Description
  • DeviceZoneID
  • MTU
  • PriorityOrder
  • SNMPPort
  • SNMPVersion

  • The SNMP v3 user authentication password.

  • The SNMP v3 authentication protocol.

  • The SNMP v1 or v2 community string.
    Example: public
  • The SNMP Access Profile description.
    To avoid confusion with numeric IDs, the description value cannot be integers only or integers prefixed with the + or - symbols only. It must contain letters or other characters. For example, 1234, +1234, and -1234 are not valid, but US1234, US+1234 and US_1234 are.
    Example: Default Public
  • The device zone ID.
    Example: 1
  • The engine ID. The default is 1.
    Example: oracle.doceng.json.BetterJsonNull@c7cf8c4
  • The maximum transmission unit (MTU) size. The default value is 1472 bytes.
    Example: 1472
  • The profile priority order. A lower value means a higher priority, the lowest value is first in the order.
    Example: 0
  • The SNMP v3 user privacy password.
    Example: *****
  • The SNMP v3 privacy protocol.
    Example: oracle.doceng.json.BetterJsonNull@12eaa2cd
  • The SNMP security level for SNMP v3 authentication. Allowed values are:
    • 0: Not Applicable
    • 1: No Authentication and No Privacy
    • 2: Authentication and No Privacy
    • 3: Authentication and Privacy
    Example: oracle.doceng.json.BetterJsonNull@20f6b6e0
  • The SNMP UDP port. The default is 161.
    Example: 161
  • The SNMP version. Allowed values are:
    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    Example: 2
  • The SNMP v3 user name.
