This image shows an example of the metric database server redundancy that you can configure in Oracle Communications Unified Assurance. It shows two servers, each with the following components:
-
A Unified Assurance installation
-
An instance of Telegraf that polls Unified Assurance, ingests metrics, and sends them to the Kafka queue
This instance fails over to the redundant Kafka queue as needed.
-
A Kafka metric queue
-
An instance of Telegraf for the metric pipeline to read from the metric queue and stores them in the Metric database
This instance reads from both the primary and redundant metric queue to ensure redundancy and failover recovery.
