User Profile

User Profile is a special configuration interface for an individual's user profile in Unified Assurance. Use this interface to:

• Update the user account email

• Change the user account password, if you are using internal authentication

• Update the user account properties

• Update the user account preferences

• View other account information

The sections below describe how to interact with the grid.

This user interface calls REST methods from the api/AAA/userProfiles endpoints. See REST API for Unified Assurance Core for details.

To access the interface, click the user name menu item in the lower left section of the Unified Assurance navigation menu.

Form Details

• Clear UI States: Select this to remove all stored UI states for yourself in this browser. This includes sorting, column sizes, grouping, and window sizes. Each user has their own saved states. Each user also has a separate set of states in each browser. Clearing the states resets everything to the default size and position. Reload open UIs to see this effect.

• Override Theme: Select this and toggle the light or dark theme. For this session, this setting overrides the default theme set in your account, user group, or browser.

Form Fields

• Email Address: The email address to send notifications to.

• Password: The password to log in with.

• Repeat Password: The password, repeated.

• Properties: Additional settings applicable to the user. See User Properties in Unified Assurance Security Guide for more information.

• Preferences: Preferences inherited from the user group. You can change unlocked preferences, but locked preferences are set in the user group by an administrator and cannot be changed. See Preferences in Unified Assurance Security Guide for more information.
