New Features

The Oracle Communications Subscriber-Aware Load Balancer (OCSLB) S-Cz8.4.0 release provides system and performance enhancements over prior release versions. This section also list new customer-facing operational features.

REST API Interface

This OCSLB software version includes a REST API that accepts Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations over HTTPS.

OCI Platform Support

This OCSLB software version supports deployment over the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) public cloud.

Note:

To allow IP-IP packet transfer between the OCSLB and the OCSBC , set the IP protocol to All Protocols on the OCI Ingress rules.

Support for the Oracle Enterprise Session Border Controller

Starting with the Oracle Communications Subscriber-Aware Load Balancer S-Cz8.4.0 release, the SLB now supports S-Cz8.4.0 E-SBC cluster members with the same functionality, operation, and configuration supported on OCSBC cluster members.
