System Support for Encryption and Random Number Generators

The following table describes HTTPS web encryption, password encryption, and safe file transfer system support.

Asymmetric 128 Provides the following HTTPS encryption support:
  • Weak cipher secure socket layer (SSL) Version 2. 0
  • Strong cipher SSL 3.0
  • Strong Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0, 1.1, 1.2

Password-based Encryption (PBE)

Symmetric 16 Encrypts stored passwords. During the system run time, all the passwords obtained, generated, stored, or transmitted are encrypted using password-based encryption (PBE).
