Configuring STI Server Groups

To configure an STI server on the SBC, use the sti-server-group object under session-router. Use the following procedure to configure a server on the SBC.

In Superuser mode, type configure terminal and press Enter.

Type session-router and press Enter.

ACMEPACKET(configure)# session-router
ACMEPACKET(session-router)#

Type sti-server-groupand press Enter.

ACMEPACKET(session-router)# sti-server-group
ACMEPACKET(sti-server-group)#

name—Enter the name (unique identifier) of the HTTP proxy. Valid values are alpha-numeric characters. Default is blank.
description—Enter a description of the HTTP proxy. Valid values are alpha-numeric characters. Default is blank.
strategy—Select a strategy for sti-server selection.
- hunt
- round-robin
- least-busy
- prop-dist
- low-sus-rate
sti-servers—Enter the sti-server names that are members of the group. The server names can be specified as a space-separated list enclosed in double quotes. Alternatively, individual sti-server name can be added or removed by prefix the name with a plus (+) or minus (-) character, respectively.
Type done.
Save and activate your configuration.
