PRVE-00456
Reverse path filter parameter "rp_filter" for private interconnect network interfaces "{0}" is not configured to the value of 0 or 2 in file /etc/sysctl.conf on node "{1}".
Cause
The reverse path filter parameter 'rp_filter' is not configured to the value 0 or 2 for the identified private interconnect network interfaces on the specified node.
Action
Ensure that the 'rp_filter' parameter is correctly configured to the value of 0 or 2 inside the /etc/sysctl.conf file for all of the interfaces used in the private interconnect classification. If the 'rp_filter' value is set globally with 'all' for private network interfaces, then ensure that the maximum between 'all' and the interface value is either 0 or 2. This will disable or relax the filtering and allow Oracle Clusterware to function correctly. Configuring this value correctly inside the /etc/sysctl.conf file ensures the persistent setting of this value on reboots.
