Oracle Exadata does not support external redundancy disk groups.
Cause
An attempt to create an Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM) disk group with external redundacy on Oracle Exadata failed due to external redundancy not being supported.
Action
Oracle Exadata supports normal/high/flex redundancy disk groups.
