ORA-22998
CLOB or NCLOB in multibyte character set not supported
Cause
A SQL character function that does not support multibyte Large Object (LOB) data was passed a Character Large Object (CLOB) or National Character Large Object (NCLOB) in a multibyte character set of fixed-width or varying-width.
Action
Use DBMS_LOB functions such as DBMS_LOB.INSTR() and DBMS_LOB.SUBSTR(); or use PLSQL DBMS_LOB.READ and DBMS_LOB.WRITE to access LOB data.
