Cause
An attempt was made to create, open, or modify a file(group) using a redundancy setting of PARITY while the COMPATIBLE.RDBMS parameter of the ASM disk group was set to a version that did not support PARITY protection.
Action
Change the COMPATIBLE.RDBMS parameter to match the minimum required version that supports PARITY protection (if the database version is similar or higher), or specify a redundancy setting other than PARITY in the statement.
