XDMG repeatedly failed to initialize which resulted in terminating the instance.

Cause

The Exadata Automation Manager (XDMG) process repeatedly failed to initialize.


Action

Examine the alert log for the reason that prior attempts to start XDMG failed. If the failure is due to a user error or bad configuration, correct it, and restart the instance. Otherwise, contact Oracle Support Services.
